Hearing the song "Imagine" makes me ponder on the question why are there bad people? Can we not really live as peaceful and innately friendly, helpful and only think of something good for somebody else?
I do really want to live a happy peaceful life without fear of being violated or harm by anyone along the way.Is it not too much asking for peace to really exist in this very mundane world called hometown.I fervently wish that everyone will be good towards other people and as the scout motto says 'Do a good turn daily"will prevail.And that will make our existence more meaningful, relevant,happy and enjoyable.

Monkey
Almost everyone's attention where caught by the guest speaker's very lively speech venturing on the funny side of dealing with the topic that everyone already knew and yet it seems interestingly beautiful to be repeated and heard for the nth time.
All the punch line of the speakers joke received a guffaw from the gallery, as if we were in a comedy bar, paid to be entertained by laughter.And who does not need a dose of laughter in a situation like ours? It is said that the primary reason why we do survived is basically our ability to laugh off our predicaments.Yes that's how we deal with it when something is amiss.To laugh, until we realized that we cannot do otherwise because it would only lead to another dilemma.
What was committed to my mind when the shrieking young guest speaker spoke was that 'an organization should never allow monkeys to manage" I was dumbfounded, Whoooa! Boom!Noted your honor!

10 days more.....
Waiting for the time to jet- in to Manila and be with my love ones is my preoccupation nowadays.
Ah Manila!!!!No matter what, indeed there is no place like Manila....my city, my life....
I want to return to my regular life in manila free from the annoying,pathetic,miserable,pretenders...who are in real sense ,lemurs of the concrete jungle.

Afternoon thought.....
What happens when you learn that the very executive whom you thought of as the paragon of virtues in the work place is also nothing but a lemur cloth in a corporate attire?
To whom shall you run to in case you need an ethically sound advice when confronted with questions, concerning the work place? It would be very saddening to realize that those whom authority and leadership is entrusted are wanting in upright judgement and dispositions.Truly, indeed nothing good will happen in the environment if the same will thrive.Where are the values inculcated to them by their parents in their younger days?What kind of upbringing do they have?Can they really sleep soundly at night knowing that they are doing patently immoral acts towards other people?
Pity on them!!!!!!!
Summer without teaching load.
As the summer heat lingers, the idea of not having a summer teaching load becomes apparent and quite disturbing for me who for the last three years have been used to the routine.
I am no longer used to staying in the house as the summer season unfolds and takes its toll to a bored idealist guru who is still struggling to understand the psyche of supposed to be learned administrators of academic institutions.
My two and a half decade in the academic world simply vanished without me noticing it.The daily routine of going to classes just like an ordinary student with a special class report in front of the students is something that i perceived of in order for me to enjoy and think of the time spent as simply schooling and not working for my family day to day upkeep.
Today i feel like my own grand summer long vacation from school is here and take it wholeheartedly like a freshman college student does. Nothing to research, write , submit , ponder upon ideas. Nada!Nil ! Kosong!
Its plain and simple taking my own sweet time of vacation and i do not like it.

Rendevouz amici!
A very quiet and simple ambiance, perfect to while away time as one sip his zero degree cold beer with a platter of seafoods in one side of the table.That's how cool the place my friends and i used to frequent and enjoy the time after a hard days work.
Life is great with good friends around!
