The Guru's Meeting

Its past 1:00pm when the first CBA Faculty Club meeting under my stewardship convened at the MBA room of Academic Bldg 3.As usual some of the members were not around probably due to a very short notice or intentionally not interested in finding a time to be involved in the affairs of the club.

From the proceedings of the meeting i can gleaned that most if not all of the members are indeed sincere enough to get the group functioning as one collegiate body willing to work for the common cause. But it was only due to the fact that almost everyone has his/ her own way of addressing the idea and to think that we are dealing with learned, independent thinking professionals that somehow stalls the proceedings with their very argumentative style.

But luckily at the end of the meeting the club decided to agree with one particular endeavor that it must pursue to realize the objective set for the next semester. For that i may say that i was able to hurdle the first stone and i am looking forward to a very exciting times of leading the Guru's.

Afternoon thought.....

What happens when you learn that the very executive whom you thought of as the paragon of virtues in the work place is also nothing but a lemur cloth in a corporate attire?

To whom shall you run to in case you need an ethically sound advice when confronted with questions, concerning the work place? It would be very saddening to realize that those whom authority and leadership is entrusted are wanting in upright judgement and dispositions.Truly, indeed nothing good will happen in the environment if the same will thrive.Where are the values inculcated to them by their parents in their younger days? What kind of upbringing do they have? Can they really sleep soundly at night knowing that they are doing patently immoral acts towards other people?

Pity on them!!!!!!!

Hoarse Voice

Its only the third week of the semester yet my voice seems already spent and cant stand it for another day.Hopefully i will regain the real timbre and force so i can effectively communicate with my new sets of students this semester.

I am fortunate that somehow the subjects assigned to me for this semester is quite easy since it requires more practical application and needs actual works of touring or visiting places of interests.
The beauty of teaching tourism subjects lies on the fact that you have the excuse of going around places to familiarize the students as well as enjoying the time of working cum leisure.

Forget about the hoarse voice and enjoy instead. !

Quiet Saturday afternoon....

Its a balmy afternoon overlooking the greens of a golf course here in Makati as i try to be productive waiting for my students to hand down their paper requirements for the day.

Almost a week passed by this month and yet i have not accomplished that much inspite of the short period this semester will be giving me to finish all the paper works due for submission to the office.

The greeneries in my view window somehow alleviate the boredom that is setting into my mood.I am trying to keep myself awake since the afternoon drool is simply inviting me to take a nap of which my situations does not permit me.

I am looking forward to another great weekend ahead with my lovely and beautiful women of my life. Rajeen, Raya and Mame!
